Recent activities and assignments of Moseley/Horizon and key Associates include:

-Management and expansion of USAID’s large multi-sector Afghanistan Infrastructure Rehabilitation

-Management of branding and business development efforts for DOD Contractor, resulting in 30 fold increase in contract value and annual revenue

-Strategic planning support to major international engineering firms for large U.S. Government international development contracts.

-Review of energy sectors and prioritized energy investment opportunities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan on behalf of U.S. private sector participants.  This activity required close collaboration with the host countries, the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, US Embassies, USAID, and numerous other sources and discussions with working and senior level officials and representatives of such sources.

-Evaluation of two transmission project investment opportunities and preparation of the terms of reference for the detailed study of their feasibility

-Key advisor and expert witness support of the arbitration through the World Bank’s International Center for the Settlement of Investor Disputes of a case involving U.S. Investors and the government of an oil rich Latin American country

-Participation as technical experts for the U.S. sponsored Electricity Beyond Borders Forum in Istanbul in June 2006. The forum brought together U.S. providers of equipment and service and officials of the Central Asian countries, Afghanistan, Pakistan, World Bank, other IFIs, Department of State, USTDA, USAID and other parties to discuss and reach basic agreement concerning opportunities for Central Asia-South Asia Electricity Trade.

-Evaluation of proposals received by a USG entity under a large infrastructure program in Africa

-Participation in an International Energy Agency (IEA) Review of Energy sector of oil rich Angola
